IMPORTANT REMINDERS (February 28):
  • WEAR YOUR UNIFORM AT ALL TIMES IN ALL YOUR CLASSES even if you had GD that day.
  • If you ask your audience to wear anything but their uniform, this should be worn only during the GD session.
  • As facilitators, if you decide to wear costumes and other clothing aside from your uniform, these must be worn only during the GD session.
  • Note that the college shirt is not a uniform equivalent or replacement and thus must be worn only during GD sessions.
  • You must be in uniform in all classes before GD and you must change back to your official uniform after GD.
  • Do not negotiate or ask favors from other professors if you can wear anything aside from your uniform because you have GD that day.

ANSWERS TO INQUIRIES (February 23):

  • Please read the guidelines very carefully.
  • Hardcopy of write-up must be submitted at the start of the GD activity implementation.
  • Theories and psychological/management concepts you researched must be used during processing.
  • Any theme of SLE is accepted (e.g., team building, assertiveness training, relaxation, stress management, social skills training, et al.)
  • Processing is not merely Q&A or catharsis.  You must "process" answers of participants to your guide questions using your analytical skills as pseudo-psychologists and research on relevant theories and concepts.
  • We have 3 weeks left in the semester.  Thus, the next 2 weeks (February 24 - March 10) will be dedicated to GD activity implementation of all groups.  Other sessions will be classroom lectures.
  • The rest of groups who have not reported shall receive instructions next week regarding submission of written report in lieu of oral report.

ANNOUNCEMENT (February 21):

Please download the guidelines and criteria for successful implementation of your GD activity.

For each section, one group will be announced as the BEST FACILITATORS.  For your batch, one group among the best facilitators in each section will be announced as TOP FACILITATORS for 2011. Rewards shall be given.  Announcements will be made after all groups have conducted their activities.

Each 3-hour session must cover the implementation of 2 groups.  Thus, design your activity for 1 hour only.  You may consult me prior to implementation via skype (ID: glodygtr), email, or twitter (for brief inquiries).
